PetroCup simulator is a Russian software suite that currently has no alternatives in the world. PetroCup allows users to complete a multi-year field development process in under a few days (from field development and well drilling, to production analysis and virtual asset sales).
During DECOM, there will be a Russian Field Development Tournament (based on the PetroCup simulator) comprising teams from a number of operating companies, oilfield service companies, science technical centres and institutes, as well as oil&gas universities.
